Our privacy policy: what data we collect, how cookies and analytics are used, and the choices you have.
What we collect and why it stays minimal
We run an independent slot-review site, and we keep the data we collect to a minimum. This page explains in plain English what we gather when you visit, why we hold it, who else can see it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here is unclear, you can reach us at the address in the Contact section below.
We don't sell your data, and we don't ask you to create an account. You can read every page here without handing over a name, an email, or a payment detail.
What we collect
- Analytics data. When you load a page, we record basic technical information such as the page URL, a rough (city-level) location derived from your IP, your browser type and device, the referring site, and the time of your visit. We use this to see which reviews people read and to spot broken pages.
- Cookie and local-storage values. A small number of cookies remember your preferences and support our analytics. The Cookie Policy lists each one.
- Contact details you choose to send. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. We don't add you to any list without your say-so.
Why we hold it
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, and, for anything that isn't strictly necessary, on your consent. That means measuring traffic, fixing faults, keeping the site secure against abuse, and answering the messages you send us. We don't use your data to build advertising profiles.
Who else sees it
A few trusted third parties process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, an analytics service, and a content-delivery network that serves images and scripts. Affiliate links to licensed casinos pass a tracking reference to that operator when you click, so they can attribute the referral. We don't share your identity with them beyond that click. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Analytics records are kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months, then deleted. Email correspondence is kept only as long as we need it to deal with your query, and no longer than is reasonable.
Your rights
If you're in the UK, the EU, or a region with similar law, you can ask us to:
- confirm what data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- erase your data where we've no lasting reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we process it, and withdraw consent at any time;
- complain to your local data-protection regulator (in the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office).
We'll act on a valid request within one month. There's no charge for a reasonable request.
Children
This site is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we'll delete the record.
